General Event Information
When and where is the beatification of Fulton J. Sheen taking place?
The Beatification Mass will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. This historic moment marks the Church officially declaring Archbishop Sheen “Blessed.” It will be at 2pm Central Time.
What is beatification?
Beatification is a significant step in the canonization process in the Catholic Church. It recognizes that a person lived a life of heroic virtue and is now in heaven, able to intercede for us. After beatification, the person is given the title “Blessed,” and public devotion is permitted in designated regions.
Can i attend the Beatification Mass?
Yes. The event is open to the public, but tickets will be required. Details on ticket registration will be released through celebratesheen.com. You can get a ticket with us if you register for our hotel room block.
Will the beatification be livestreamed?
Yes. The Mass will be broadcast globally, allowing people around the world to participate if they are unable to attend in person.
Where should i stay?
Your best option is to book a hotel room with us at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac in order to attend our Conference and join with us in attending the Beatification together the following day.
